Latest update for the Festival of 1000 bikes - July 16th/17th 2022 at Mallory Park in Leicestershire

We are very pleased to announce that 2 legends of Motorcycle Racing, one past and one present will be attending the Festival. Phil Read MBE needs no introduction, winner of 7 Grand Prix world championships, Read started his career in 1958 on a BSA Goldstar and retired from racing in 1982, achieving success on Honda’s, Yamaha’s and MV Agusta’s. Our other legend is none other than Michael Dunlop, making his TT debut in 2007, Dunlop was the first rider to lap the TT Course in under 17 minutes, this year he will back riding the Mountain Course, no doubt in his usual spectacular style. As well as star riders, some fantastic and rare machines will be paraded to include:- An ex Jean Michel Bayle factory Aprilia 250: ex Graham Wood Barton Phoenix square 4, Honda RC163 replica: ex Tom Herron Yamaha TZ350 and Suzuki RG500; Kenny Roberts Junior’s 500 GP machine; a display of 12 RC45 Hondas; ex Randy Mamola Ducati; 1969 Paton GP Twin; early 1970s MV Agustas and Manx Nortons from the 1960s and last but not least a genuine factory RC162 (TBC)
